As a Senior Process Engineer in Capsol Technologies, you will play a critical role in the implementation and optimisation of Capsol’s technologies. In your role, you will work collaboratively with other engineers in the team to develop innovative solutions to improve efficiency, reduce costs, as well as always ensuring strong focus on HSSE.

Your tasks include:
· Design, calculate, implement Capsol’s technologies for project specific applications, holding part or full technical responsibility of project technical calculations, preliminary and detailed process philosophies, process designs and drawing materials

· Contribute to the optimisation of existing processes, and development of new processes

· Identify and assist with implementation of improvements related to processes, working methods and systematic model development

· Initiate and actively lead in knowledge sharing, applying subject matter expertise in projects (both internally and externally)

· Present Capsol’s technologies in client meetings and conferences

· Take an active role in design reviews, HAZOP, risk assessments, process validation and qualifications

· Be an important contributor to the company’s collaborative culture and social environment

Qualifications:

We are looking for engineers that hold a BSc or MSc in process or chemical engineering or a related process engineering field. To succeed in the role, you must have knowledge and experience in the chemical and process discipline. Ideally, you should also have a deeper understanding in one or more of the following areas:

· design and operation of processing plants

· treatment of gases

· heat exchangers

· rotating equipment

Simulation experience using tools such as Aspen, Hysis ProTreat, or similar is also beneficial. Flue gas cleaning, gas treatment or CCS experience (CCS value chain) will be considered an advantage.

The ideal candidates should possess strong self-drive and self-motivation, along with the ability to take initiative. You should also be flexible and comfortable working across various disciplines. Good communication skills are essential, as you will be a key part of a dynamic and growing team. Being confident in communicating ideas and leading technical discussions with customers and vendors is required. The candidates should have an interest in learning new areas, as well as the flexibility to travel when needed.

To meet the growing demand for our CapsolGo^® carbon capture demonstration units, we are seeking a Commissioning and Operations Engineer with a focus on commissioning and operation. Preferably, the applicant has experience in commissioning power plants / industrial facilities and would enjoy taking a great deal of responsibility for the execution of our CapsolGo^® demonstration campaigns. 

The position requires international travel most of the time.

Your tasks:

- Execute commissioning and operation activities at our CapsolGo^® carbon capture demonstration units - from delivery to site to completion of demonstration campaigns.

- Perform on-site sampling of chemical solutions on a daily or weekly basis during the test campaigns.

- Represent Capsol Technologies and be the client’s main point of contact during the demonstration campaigns.

- Contribute to the development of commissioning and operational procedures/manuals for our full-scale plants.

- Multiply your knowledge and on-site experience into the organisation, to support the development of new patents and processes.

- Take an active role in HAZOP, risk assessments, and operational planning for each demonstration campaign.

- Be an important contributor to the company culture and social environment.

Qualifications:

- 3+ years relevant working experience in one or more of the following fields: Chemical Engineering, Commissioning of power plants /industrial facilities, Commissioning of gas processing units (Chemical) process engineering, I&C Commissioning, Electrical Commissioning.

- Detailed knowledge and experience in commissioning and operation of plants, ideally complemented with profound understanding of mechanical, electrical, and chemical processes.

- Preferably already based in the Nordics, although a relocation offer may be considered for the right candidates.

You should demonstrate a very good technical understanding and confidence in engaging with customers. Additionally, you should thrive as a team player and enjoy social interactions.
