Energy-from-Waste

Biomass
The CO2 concentration and impurities in the flue gas from biomass plants are well suited for the flexible CapsolEoP® (End-of-Pipe) carbon capture solution. You can expect a capture rate of more than 90%, high purity of the captured CO2 and no harmful emissions. The captured CO2 is totally free of degraded (potentially carcinogenic) amines. Thermal power export from the heat recuperation to the district heating network maximises the efficiency of the process.

Cement
CapsolEoP® is cost competitive and flexible
due to it's patented energy recuperation which keeps most of the energy within the system. It has a low energy demand with an electrical energy consumption of <1.0 GJ/tonnes of CO₂ captured, depending on the composition and temperature of the flue gas (not including liquefaction). The Capsol EoP unit is independent on parent plant and can run on electricity only. Hence, there is no need for additional steam generation.

Gas turbines
With a 95%+ capture rate and the ability to generate additional electricity while capturing CO2, CapsolGT is a revenue generating solution for open cycle gas turbines 4 MWe - 100+ MWe. Standalone unit - perfect for remote location without large steam cycles.

Other industries
The CapsolEoP® (End-of-Pipe) carbon capture solution is well suited for any flue gas with CO2 concentration from 1% to 30%, it is cost competitive and flexible due to it's patented energy recuperation which keeps most of the energy within the system, and it has a capture rate of 90%+. The captured captured CO2 has high purity and no risk of harmful emissions. The captured CO2 is also totally free of degraded (potentially carcinogenic) amines.
